I have been photographing this couple and their sweet family for about two years now. It all started with a gender reveal and eight photo shoots later I was there to photograph their union as husband and wife! I can’t even begin to tell you how well thought out this wedding was. No detail was missed and Tara organized everything to perfection. It all started with a rainbow theme that was fitting for the exciting and colourful life she, her new hubby Mike and their little one share.
The bridal party was an entourage of a mere 15 groomsmen and 6 bridesmaids. Each person sported one colour of the rainbow and everything from bow ties to shoes matched. After we wrapped up the highly anticipated First Look at the Clarion Hotel, everyone headed out on a party bus (cuz folks, that’s the only way to move that many people from one place to another lol) to the Niverville Heritage Centre.
The ceremony took place in a very grand room of timber and tulle. Each bridal party member came down the stairs to a song that was special to them in one way or another. We were treated to some killer dance moves, followed by the brides big entrance. The officiant, none other than the bride’s uncle, took everyone on a hilarious journey that may or may not have included a flask filled with “holy water” and and pistol. Let’s just say, no one objected to the union of Tara and Mike 😉
The reception was a vibrant array of different coloured table settings, an incredible cake by Sweet C Bakery, oodles of glow sticks, the most unique digital photo booth I have ever seen (yes, even I was impressed) from Cherry Tree Productions, and lots of laughs from everyone.
Thank you Tara and Mike for having choosing me to curate another important milestone in your lives together. May you spend the rest of your lives finding happiness in the love you have for each other!
